About Us.

Kavanagh Carpentry is a family business run by husband and wife team Scott & Jess. We decided to specialise in decks after building our own and seeing how much it changes the home - everyone should have one!

"When we built a large deck & pergola at our place a number of years ago, we realised what a massive difference it made to our lifestyle having a beautiful outdoor entertainment area. We used to mostly be 'indoor people' when at home, but suddenly we were having breakfast and dinner outside, inviting friends and family over to catch up around the BBQ or celebrate special occasions together!

Years later, we now watch our kids spending hours each day playing on the deck, riding their scooters around; we use our deck more than ever, it's been such a game changer in our life!"

- Jess Kavanagh

It would be our honour to be the ones to totally transform your outdoor areas, and make them everything you imagined and more!
